Hello! My name is Sara Feinberg. I am a theatre teacher and I have two teens, both of whom are in different special education programs in Minneapolis and St. Paul. I work in two different schools, both of which have a high number of children going through trauma. While this does not make me an expert, I hope my experience as a teacher and as a special education parent can help other parents of children or teens going through mental health or crisis.
Last year, my family went through a crisis with one of our children, and as I navigated various mental health and school support systems, I realized I wished I had a place to find support and resources to help me. I am hoping to create a space for parents to grieve, pray, help each other and celebrate the children we have. You do not have to do this alone! No Need to RSVP- please come as you are.
