MERCY WEDNESDAYS

We believe that following Jesus happens best when we’re in community with others.

Mercy Wednesdays offers the opportunity to connect outside of a Sunday morning. We start with a free meal prepared by Mercy volunteers, and then move into mid-sized groups to learn and grow together. Offered seasonally, each Mercy Wednesdays session provides something for everyone! Childcare and elementary-aged programming is also provided. Mercy Youth will also be meeting at this time.

Dinner served 5:30 - 6:00 PM; Groups begin at 6:15 PM

Wednesdays - February 5 - March 26

Alpha Course
The Alpha Course helps create a space for honest conversation around some of life’s biggest questions. It is designed to allow guests to connect with one another while sharing thoughts, ideas, and opinions in a safe and caring environment. Alpha helps bring people together while providing the chance to encounter Jesus. All are welcome, no matter your background or beliefs.
Practicing the Way
Join us for thematic discussion based on the book, Practicing the Way. Together we will explore what it practically looks like to build practices into our lives that resemble those of Jesus. These disciplines such as silence and solitude, fasting and community can be helpful to growing in likeness to Him. Although these skills are not the end goal, they make room for the Holy Spirit to work in the same way that sailors put up sails and check all the rigging so they are ready when the wind blows. You don't have to read the book but it would be valuable to have a copy and come with background on it. Please reach out to Jonathan Stuart (stua0042@umn.edu) with any questions.

Seeking the Heart of Your City
Journey together with other outreached-minded folks through six steps of prayer, reflection, and challenge as we seek God’s heart for our city. We’ll watch a video and follow along with a course created by Josh Williams, Vineyard USA Associate National Director for Evangelism and Justice. Let’s join together and consider the question: if the Kingdom of God came into your city, what would change?
Youth Nights
Middle & Senior High Students are invited to explore deepening their faith through artistic expression. This service aims to deepen their relationship with God while fostering a sense of community. Our plan is to have a student-led worship experience & promote creativity and encouraging students to bring their artistic gifts to life. We will take a dive into using artistic expression based on our devotionals each week, we will invite the Holy Spirit to inspire and empower each student with original pieces of artistic expression. I'm thrilled to introduce this new experience and want our students to come out, invite a friend along and try something new.
Wednesday Night Kids
Childcare will be offered for kids ages 1-2nd Grade
3rd-5th Grade will have the opportunity to learn about having a Relationship with God and how God cares and is present in every part of their life.
