We believe that following Jesus happens best when we’re in community with others.
While there are lots of ways to connect at Mercy, small groups are at the heart of what we do. We have a variety of groups to choose from, whether you are looking to make friends, grow spiritually, or serve the city.
At the bottom of the page is a list of groups. Many of our Connect and Growth Groups are meeting online. Email the leaders for information on how they are gathering.
Ways to Find Community
Make friends: Meet up with others who share an interest or activity.
Grow spiritually: Join a small group of people coming together for regular prayer & fellowship.
***Meets In Person*** This fall, we'll read small sections from a systematic theology "Theology for the Community of God" by Stanley J. Grenz. Grenz's pitch is that God's central program for humanity is the establishment of community. It has been an encouraging theme for me in this time of social distancing! We'll read small sections during the group meeting so that you don't need to prepare ahead of time if you have other commitments. The goal will be to learn a bit about core christian doctrines and reflect together.
