Worship Tech Team Volunteer Training

This training will focus on how to run the sound board and lights for Sunday services and special events. 2017 Community Christmas Choir

Join the Christmas Choir to be a part of one of our highlights of the year–our Special Christmas services, directed by the talented Daniel Greco! We are currently looking for men and women of all musical backgrounds to join our community choir. Whether you have years of vocal experience or none at all, all are welcome to join ages 16 & up.
Rehearsal & Performance Dates:
Rehearsals: Wed 11/29, Wed 12/6, and Wed 12/13 // 6-8 pm. Also Sunday 12/10 // 12:30 pm
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday 12/16 (attendance required) // time TBA
Performances: Sunday, Dec. 17 // 9 am and 11am (lunch provided)
There will be an optional $3 meal served at Mercy on Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm before choir rehearsal begins. Childcare is available for $3 per child with RSVP.
Expectations: Choir participants are expected to attend most of the rehearsals & the dress rehearsal (Dec. 16) is mandatory.

Holiday Market + Volunteers Needed

Mercy is hosting our first Holiday Market! Join the NE community in celebration of the holiday season. We’ll have local vendors selling their handmade gifts, a food truck, and live music. Kids activities and free photos with Santa are available from 1-4pm. Stop by for a few minutes or stay for awhile.
In addition to artisan vendors, we need volunteers to help the event to run smoothly. Sign up for a 2-hour shift.

Talking to Kids About Race

Small Group Leader Interest Meeting

Watching and Waiting

Mercy’s Special Christmas service is an annual tradition that we look forward to every year. This year’s services will feature a community Christmas choir, original musical performances and homemade holiday treats to share. Invite your friends and family to this special event!
Northeast Students (NES) Christmas Party

We have had a great fall semester here at Mercy with our Sunday morning youth services and our Wednesday night NES program alongside other Northeast churches. We are looking forward to closing out the year with our Christmas party and ringing in a great 2018!
(Note: No Mercy Youth services 12/17 & 12/24 and no NES services 12/27 & 01/03).

There will be one morning service and one evening service on Christmas Eve. The morning service only will have childcare available for ages 0-3. All other ages should stay with their family to enjoy the simple service. No childcare evening service.

Journey to the Holy Land
Travel with other Jesus followers on this multiple perspective journey through the Holy Land. Rooted in Christian pilgrimage and facilitated by two guides, one Israeli and one Palestinian, spend 8 days experiencing the spiritual sites, enjoying the diverse cultures of the region and learning about the daily struggles for peace, justice and security through the eyes of its residents. Travelers will be offered a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the complex issues facing Israelis and Palestinians hearing from local leaders, activists and community members from every perspective. There will be time for spiritual reflection, teaching, discussion and fun.
