@MercyWednesday Launch

Wednesday, September 29 // 6:30pm // Hybrid

@MercyWednesday is our fall-winter-spring schedule of classes, learning opportunities, discussions and midweek time of connection. We seek to grow in maturity, spiritually and in relationship with one another.

While we are not hosting a meal before classes at this time, we will have coffee and prepackaged snacks for in person attendees. And we hope to provide virtual class offerings as well as in person opportunities.

Join us in reading groups, classes and discussions this fall as we learn and grow together.

@MW Book Study | Seven Things I Wish Christians Knew About the Bible

Wednesday, September 29 // 6:30pm // Mercy

“The Bible says a lot of things and people say a lot of things about the Bible.” Join Cassie Smith to read Seven Things I Wish Christians Knew about the Bible by Michael F. Bird if you’d like to consider how and why we let the Bible speak into our lives. There will be some teaching and resourcing from Cassie, required readings each week, and lots of room for dialogue and encouragement as we navigate this topic together. Please buy a copy of the book and read the Introduction and Chapters 1-2 before the first week of class.

Studying the Ignation approach to decision making, we hope that all will find a God-driven path to peace-filled decisions. Please buy a copy of the book and read Chapters 1-4 (don’t worry, they’re short!) prior to the class.
