This four day workshop looks critically at both individual and institutional (structural) racism. The workshop is structured and uses a format of engaging presentations, experiential exercises, small and large group interactions and discussions.
Participants are encouraged to be fully engaged. Additionally, in order to create the best possible environment to have this tough conversation participants are instructed to abide by the following set of rules: understand that everyone is on a journey, we are all teachers and learners, each person will accord the other participants mutual respect and care.
Participants are invited to explore a shared understanding of racism and its manifestations and to clarify God’s call to building unity in the body of Christ that impacts the world.
Due to Covid-19, this will be an online workshop. Participants will attend virtually via Zoom.
