About the COVID Care Fund:
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect us all as individuals and as a community, we acknowledge that some of us are impacted more than others. As followers of Jesus, we are called to respond with generosity and love to those around us.
Mercy Vineyard Church has opened a COVID Care Fund to tangibly bless and support those connected to the Mercy community who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.
*UPDATE: Our COVID Care Fund Application is currently on pause as we launch Phase 2. Please check back in September for Phase 2 details*
How to Participate:
You can participate by donating or requesting funds for yourself or others in your community (neighbors, family members, friends, other Mercy community members, etc.).
If you have an abundance and are looking for ways to take care of others in our community, we encourage you to open up your storehouses (as in the example of Joseph in Genesis 41). Joseph stored up a surplus for the upcoming drought and then released his grain to those in need during the drought.
Donate electronically using the link below and select “COVID Care Fund” in the dropdown menu for your gift.
For those who have been negatively financially impacted as a result of COVID-19, this fund is meant to provide a blessing of support from the church community. Consider applying for a gift ranging from $500-$1,000 to help out in the areas of financial need. We encourage you to ask and receive this gift as a blessing from the Lord knowing that He sees you.
On behalf of others:
For those of you with others around you experiencing financial insecurity as a result of COVID-19, please consider applying on their behalf.
If the application is approved, we encourage you to provide a message (either handwritten or emailed) that can be included with the gift, such as: “The Lord put you on my heart and I applied on your behalf. Please receive this check as a blessing from Mercy Vineyard Church and know that Jesus loves you.”
REQUEST FUNDS: Please check back September 2020
