On Tuesday evenings from June 16 through August 25, Mercy is hosting a book group on The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby. The book explores the roots of systemic racism and injustice in the American church.
Join us to read and discuss the book as we press into Mercy’s everyday pathways for racial justice as spiritual formation:
- Inner life – With humility, we do the work of learning and listening to oppression.
- Outer life – We engage hospitably in “sacred conversations”as both givers and receivers.
- Life together – As one body with many parts, we allow the Gospel to empower our imaginations for change.
